Butterfly Haven at Virginia Living Museum

Every summer, the Virginia Living Museum releases hundreds of butterflies and moths, along with a dozen chrysalises, into their butterfly haven exhibit. This exhibit allows guests to get up close and personal with native butterflies and moths as well as witness the butterflies’ lifecycle in real time. Some of the butterfly species include Question Marks, Sulphurs, Whites, Gulf Fritillary, Giant Swallowtails, Tiger Swallowtails, and more!
