The living conservatory is an indoor dry tropical forest filled to the brim with not just tropical butterflies, but with other animals like turtles, tarantulas, snakes, and even a sloth. Each Summer, the North Carolina Museum of Natural Science opens the conservatory for visitors to experience dozens of exotic plants and animals from Central America.
