Butterfly Pavillion at Smithsonian Natural History Museum

Smithsonian Natural History Museum’s Butterfly Pavilion features butterflies from the U.S., Mexico, Central and South America, Africa, India, China, and Southeast Asia. The Pavilion is temperature controlled and butterflies fly free inside the facility. Tickets are timed.

Butterflies you might see in the Pavilion include the paper kite butterfly, tailed jay, leopard lacewing, common morpho, and many more.
